You see, this is why I should have already learned my lesson about talking politics here. I would just like to point out one thing from Wikipedia.

I'm not defending Clinton, but a president's approval rating is a measure of how well he's doing what the people (those theoretically in charge) want him to be doing. As far as men go, he is a POS just like the rest. As far as presidents go, though, he wasn't half bad, or at least so say the people.
I don't care whether you liked Clinton or Reagan or Carter. I don't care whether your Democrat or Republican. The plain and simple truth is that Bush is not acting in the best interest of our nation and never has. It was a seriously suspicious election that got him the office and it took the death of thousands for him to keep the office at the next seriously suspicious election. He consistently does what he wants, regardless whether the Constitution of the United States of America says he can or not. You can compare him to Jesus if you want. It doesn't change the fact that those rules are in place to protect us and if we let one man trample them, any man can trample them. Once we let a single man get away with throwing out the rules when it suits him, they become unenforceable and freedom ceases to be a reality and becomes just an idea. |
