I dreamed this night before last and spent the better part of yesterday trying to remember a part of it that I remembered clearly right after I woke up. After getting busy with a few things yesterday morning, I forgot it and haven't been able to recall it since. Annoying.
Anyway, it had to do with Grendel and some "ability" he was, well, showing off -- something paranormal. I remember seeing him grinning wildly in the back of a room, and promising to show what he could do (no, not sexual). In particular, he was telling me, as I was giving him a hard time about it. He told me to "just wait". And I did, until in my dream I woke up the next morning and saw exactly what he'd done. (Omg, this is strange.) He'd remotely "installed" white plastic lacing in the skin across my chest, from shoulder to shoulder. I looked down and saw that it was woven into my flesh, embroidered, and it was actually stitched words, the lyrics to a song. This is the part I cannot remember -- which song it was. I remember touching myself just under my collar bones and feeling sore, as if I'd just had surgery, and seeing that the tiny wounds caused by the stitching were shiny from an antibiotic ointment that had been applied. I was so dumbfounded that I just stared at it all in a mirror. Then I woke up.
