OK. I see the problem. Anon, you need to ventilate your basement lair and laboratory.

It wasn't that illucid

A prince or some royalty sitting between two phallic objects marked "B" and "J". The most obvious difference between this image and the road version is one has outstretched arms in a "Y".

If there's a Y with homosexual undertones, there's gotta be an MCA.

Now that I think of it, that's probably a woman (the moon is associated with femininity in most cultures and and the fruit surrounding him/her/it are associated with the Fall). In fact, I believe it's a tarot card (the #2 gives it away). Which is odd since you don't normally associate a fraternity of old dudes with the occult (although wasn't MacGregor Mathers a Mason?)

The road figure is probably a crown with a compass and square under it, a juxtaposition of king and God found in a lot of Masonic symbolism.

According to the site, the figure is supposed to be the Virgin Mary or Isis (they state the two as basically being the same thing). I'm trying to find a source that can explain the surrounding symbols, but I’m not having much luck. As you mentioned, the crown I would assume is a reference to moon phases, and the basic symbol for feminism, but I’m lost on why a frat would be interested in that. Then I’m also wondering about the significants of the pillars and then the scroll labeled "TOR_" (I can't guess at the last letter for sure, R, P, B, F, etc). And then is there a significants to the golden moon thing on the ground...?
See, I don't really care about conspiracies much, but figuring stuff like this out does amuse me...

Actually it is a Royal Family Member seated between two giant phalluses labelled "B" & "J" obviously it is symbolic of that most divine female archetype - the Blow Job Queen.

She is the high priestess in a standard Tarot deck. The B pillar represents Boaz meaning negation, and the J pillar represents Jachin for beginnings. The book she is holding is the Torah, representing teaching or knowledge.
Isis is associated with her because of the Moon Crown she wears. She represents knowledge and secret knowledge of which she is teacher, and her crown means she illuminates secrets or what you cannot see on your own.

Tarot is pretty interesting.

Tarot started out as a card game and our modern deck of cards is based on it. The divinatory part was popularized in the late nineteenth century with the spiritualism craze. The "major arcana", which the high priestess is part of, consists of 21 numbered "trump" cards and one unumbered card (the joker or fool, which we see in modern card decks). The "minor arcana" consists of one to ten, jack, knight, queen, king in four suits. Modern playing decks omit the knight.

Presumably, you could read tarot in a game of poker.

The Romany People used the original playing deck as a means of divination, and I remember reading several books, giving instruction on how to read a regular 52-card deck. Not sure if the joker is ever employed though.

But I own a tarot deck so...

I too own one. and a book telling me how to "use" it.
I like to explore everything in my world not just what "science" talks about.

I knew an old lady when I was a kid that was a lot like the old broad in the Wolfman movie. She read the cards and runes as well.

I'm a bit taken aback myself...

I'm guessing not, since the Joker card is not a part of the original deck... it was actually added for the game Euchre. Actually being "the Euchre card" being changed to "the Joker card"...
I got that from HowStuffWorks.com a long while ago, but don't have time to look up the page right now...

I have an ex GF who used to read Tarot. Mostly as a joke but it was pretty fun.
It actually provides answers in a certain sense. The way she did it was the person being read had to ask certain questions of the cards during the reading. Of course the cards cannot give specific answers, so you had to use them to narrow down a certain list of already chosen options.
Basically it actually worked as a sort of mental focusing tool, but didn't have shit to do with divination.
