This was a weird one. Hubs went in for a ct scan this morn, you would have thought I'd a had a dream bout that.
I'm standing round the hood here talking to the neighbors and we look up to see the biggest airplane ever. It pulls up short above us and starts to speak to us. You can see it's mouth moving and everything.(I didnt know jets had mouths) It asked me if mankind knew where it came from. Is it a god? I said nope, and before I could continue, it said, we will show you the ways of the universe. You are such children and so slow that we feel that you need help moving on.
It flew straight up and disappeared out into space. Then all these machines came down and landed all over the planet, for each neighborhood, and town. They had all kinds of switches and levers and screens on them. Before we could even touch them a screen lit up and started talking to us. Like we were being taught. They had all kinds of people in the videos, some humanoid, some blobby like something out of star wars or the sci-fi channel. But we could understand what they were saying.
I asked the people around me if anyone called 911. Someone, don't know who, said what for? I said you don't think scientists will be interested in this shit? Next thing you know theres a lab coated looking guy there looking at the machine. I said wait for it, pushed in a thing that reminded me of an 8 track tape and off it went to teaching us again. And interacting with us. Like, videophone or something.
Then I woke up. *sigh* I wanted to learn everything. |

| Ah, a woman after my own heart. My greatest desire is to know absolutely everything. Unfortunately my head is growing old and full. |

| ha, mine too. So much so that it throws some things out that I just might be able to use. Like where my car keys are. That I just passed the last exit for 200 miles and I have to piss like a race horse. Things like that. |

| none of my dreams are ever all that interesting... i'm jealous of all you people with your crazy, alien zombie invading dreams. my more interesting dreams i ever have are usually related to whatever computer game, book, or tv show/movie i just got finished with before going to bed... which isn't really anymore interesting than the computer game, book, or tv show/movie that inspired it. |

I think it helps if your stone cold crazy, like I am.
I keep telling the voices in my head to shut up but they don't. So I poke at them with Q-tips. |

| Voices in your head are a good thing. If they weren't there all the time, how would you know you're not deaf when it gets really quiet? You wouldn't, and that's a scary thing. |

Thank you, thank you. I'm here all week.
I actually went deaf once. I think I used to have really low blood pressure as a kid because weird things would happen to me all the time. It was kind of cool sometimes. The time I went deaf, there was a chick from my (at the time) church talking to me. Everything just quickly faded out and I was completely deaf for a couple of seconds, then everything faded back in. I know I stumbled and I had to have had a funny look on my face, but when my hearing came back SHE WAS STILL TALKING! Chicks. Can't live with them, the end. |

When I was a kid I used to go deaf too. Like when my mom said to clean up my room. Hours later she'd say, Did you hear me young lady? And I'd say huh? What'd you say mom?
And then when I was married the first time. My ex would say, Listen to me you stupid bitch! And I'd say, What? Happened everyday back then.
I don't know if I out grew it or what but I hear pretty good now.
Once in a long while, and I mean a looooong while it will happen now. Like when hubs says Honey? How bout a blow job and I say, What? No, no not really. Mevermind.
Just kidding.... *snerk* |

I had a low pressure attack once many many years ago.
I was laying on the couch relaxing prior to going to school, and my second alarm went off telling me I had to get outside for the bus. I stood up really fast took two steps and crashed to the ground. I remember everything greying out into tunnel vision and hearing a roaring in my ears.
As soon as I hit the ground I popped back up and was fine. It also used to happen if I was squatting down and stood up suddenly, like checking out the bottom shelf in the library. I wouldn't pass out but I'd get light headed and the tunnel vision thing.
A steady regimen of cheeseburgers have solved my low blood pressure problem though, so it doesn't happen anymore.
BTW, can we ever keep a thread on topic? |

Someones been watching Star Trek reruns again;)
I dream just about every night, according to my GF. Apparently I've also taken to sitting up and holding conversations. She says I am very informative. She wont elaborate. I am considering duct tape before I go to bed. |

I haven't had any really fun dreams lately. Once I dreamed I talked to a woman from far into the future. She told me about things that we "don't know about yet", and, true to my nature, the only thing about the dream I didn't remember when I woke up was what she talked to me about. It was a hole in my dream.
She was cool looking, though. When I was close to her I could see her skin sparkled. She was wearing a green beanie-type hat with a springy thing on top that bounced as she moved. And she had an indescribable accent. Clearly a high-tech savvy futuristic chick. |

| I don't often recall dreams and the ones I do usually aren't worth posting. Things might change though. The nearest Taco Bell is now open till midnight. |
