...had kidney stones four years ago. You either pass these jagged little pills 'naturally' through your urinary tract (screaming all the way -you, not the stones), have them removed surgically, or have them pulverized by a lithotripsy* procedure (sound blasting device). Typically, ins co.s want you to try and pass it/them naturally before approving surgery or lithotripsy. In all cases, the drugs are good.
...hope Murphy used water-based paint on her pool. That's what it's for.
*They put me under for the lithotripsy, on IV sedation, not a general anesthetic. They didn't tell me that Nash County General Hospital didn't have its own lithotripsy machine, that they schedule to have a semi-truck loaded machine come round periodically to handle the waiting procedures. I woke up on the guerney being rolled across the loading dock to the truck. Looking around I could see I was outside the hospital by the empty pallets, forklifts, etc. I could think of only one reason why I'd be taken to the loading dock behind the hospital - they either thought I was dead or I was dead. Both thoughts were highly disturbing, particularly the idea of waking up during my own autopsy. After ? amount of time I drifted back out, but woke up again inside the lithotripsy machine. No problem there though. The dull pounding pain told me I probably wasn't dead, always welcome news. |

...am glad to see G back!
murphy ~ "... will not ask how you know that. (although I am a bit curious)"
...have friends in low places - always have. I could literally get any illegal thing I wanted, I just don't happen to want anything.
...had what G had. Lithotripsy. Mine went like his, minus the waking up in transit. Although years ago I did wake up in the back hallway on the way to the OR for knee surgery. I managed a joke after all the crap I saw in the hall. "Did you guys know I'm from JCAHO?" Then I was out. |

... think there's nothing quite like the experience of passing jagged little rocks out through your dick.
... would like to point out this twice the problem for me as it is for most men. |

... am not quite sure what you mean by that, Gren. Is the stone twice the size or the passage half the size of most men?
I told you I missed poking at you. |

...suggest Asmodee not use the word "poking' in any thread that also includes 'dick'.
...will put it this way: They told me walking would help pass kidney stones. I never passed one, but if I did pass a kidney stone, I'd have to turn around and go back a couple feet to pick it up. |
