I have been replaying Deus Ex lately because of my need to play something that loses my reality, and because i don't remember if i ever played the whole thing before (after playing the whole thing now, i still don't remember, it's weird). But anyway... those of you who have played it have probably come across the books scattered throughout the game, and one of them being titled Jacob's Shadow... this book was kinda interesting and couldn't help but wonder about what it was from. As those who have already looked it up before know, it's a fictional fiction... or rather... it was a book that was created for the sake of the game... although, it's still interesting, so here's a blog from the guy that actually wrote the "book", Chris Todd (in the game the author is Andrew Hammond, in homage to Andrew Vachss), who compiled the whole thing for us:

I may be a geek, but i still think it's cool...
and as a side note, Deus Ex 3 is scheduled to be out within mid-2009: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_Ex_3 |
