A mountain lion was sighted in the backyards in Haywood, California. That's not a huge surprise as it's cat territory all around there, but the video is what got me.
How come people who take bigfoot films and pictures can't get something equally clear? How come their footage is always grainy, out of focus, or totally obscured (except when it's an obvious hoax).
Really, other than the PG film nothing out there even looks REMOTELY close to the quality of this film, done with a handheld camera at the spur of the moment.
I think it just goes to further prove that bigfoot can ONLY exist when the data is so ambiguous as to not allow easy identification of a mundane animal.
Religion has increasingly become a "god of the gaps", living in the spaces where science cannot yet claim full knowledge. I think Bigfoot is increasingly being seen a a "beast of blurriness", only surviving when no clear ID can be made. |

| While the video is at times very shaky, and occasionally out of focus... you can clearly see that it's a mountain lion. Maybe BF advocates should take lessons on how to shoot a decent video from this guy. |

I thought that was an evolved trait of the Bigfeet Genus - a hazy aura of shimmering air as an anti-camera deterrent.
Maybe it's a partially visible cloud of noxious fumes. It's said that Bigfeet are smelly... |

| I agree with the doc. The smell acts as a visual mirage. Come on people! Use your noggins. |
