Not a dream, but apparently started by one.

We stayed up late reading last night, getting into bed a little after midnight. We stayed up a bit longer um... practicing marriage type things...

Anyway, we got to sleep sometime around 1:00am and a while later I wake up to her yelling, landing on me, then jumping off me and a loud THUMP as she landed on the floor. It's pitch black in our room so I quickly found the light and checked on her.

She actually hurt herself pretty bad. She went to urgent care today and while she didn't break anything (we thought she broke her clavicle) she has a bad sprain on her shoulder and can't do shit with it. She's on two kinds of meds for it, plus the usual RICE treatment for sprains.

We still haven't figured out what the hell happened. She knows she was dreaming but not what. Our best guess is she acted our her dream leaped over on me, then either I threw her off or she jumped off and fell off the bed.

Our bed is a four poster and the mattress sits about 3 1/2 feet off the floor. I actually have to climb UP into bed. Neither one of us knows what the hell actually brought it on, nor what she did. She didn't take any unusual medicines before bed, no alcohol, nothing.

I'm just glad she didn't get any marks on her face or people would believe I was beating her.

With a bed that big, I think you should put up a railing -- a giant crib of sorts. wink

Hope she feels better soon.

She's feeling a lot better today. The drugs help of course, but this morning she was even able to roll on her left side for a while.

I've told her I'm going to put a seatbelt in the bed, or lay the decorative pillows on the floor next to her side but she isn't laughing.

I think Yaish discovered that being married is different than what he thought and tried to off the wife. How much insurance ya got on her? 5k to keep my mouth shut and say you were here in Florida with Sky and me.

Actually she's got about 500k in coverage. It's a pretty substantial amount but not worth offing her. When I get her coverage over 2 mil I'll think about it again.

Our bed is like yours high off the ground.

Its a reproduction victorian, quaker, such and such thang that either requires a bedstep (which I use as a nightstand or the cat sits on the top step and stares me awake) or a 'running hurdle' to get into.

If you lose yourbalance or if someone wiggles a little too close you fall off.
A dream could/can be extremely dangerous if very active. Hell what am I saying a sneeze is dangerous from this thing.

One of my girls fell off when she was a couple of years old. Interesting trip to the ER.
"Yes doc she fell 3 feet off my bed."

Hope the missus feels better soon, It was sweet of you to make her a Valentines dinner.

My bed sits low, a Tempur-Pedic masterpiece. Plus the guy who built this house installed 60-ounce carpeting, very thick and soft, so no injuries here.
