| It's still ugly as sin, but looks a bit better with black-on-white as opposed to green-on-white. |

Trolls are ugly. What can you do?
Is it possible/have you ever tried white/light type reversed out of a black/dark background? |

Awareness is Bliss
-Mang
Her aura shone before me, a light in the black, a star in the nighttime sky,
but it was the depth and breadth of her soul that caught my seeking eye.
She glides along as a the floor, a swan of such beauty and grace,
and in that impish smile, always do I see the love that frames her face.
For her wit, sponteneity and sexy charm, and for all such things to toast,
her intelligence, dedication and unwavering love are what I admire most.
She gave much of herself, as did I, to bring forth miraculous life,
and despite a long and winding road, she stared down all the strife.
Yet even today, she still so gives, and gives so freely and true,
our paths would be a spinning compass, so LOST were it not for you.
In you I've found the one with whom I walk together, yet walk as only one,
incredibly so, more room you'd found, to love both me and our son.
An affliction to most, to tear asunder, all that we thought was real,
from pain and prayer, we found life anew, together we always would heal.
A flash of time yet passes again, and he has become so big, so fast,
a break to cherish, yet it cannot stop, flickers of time inexorably pass.
Each moment given, a lifetime passed, as a babe became a boy,
and in his eyes, and in his smile, I feel endless pride and unbound joy.

My contribution to the "Creative Thread":
A poem, by Mr. 223FMJ...*AHEM!*
Fat hogs, fat hogs,
Greasy, nasty, smelly dogs.
200, 300, 400 pounders-
Put away 12 quarterpounders.
Come on Fat Chicks,
Climb on in!
With your fat thighs,
and your four chins.
We'll go for a ride,
around the block.
Just don't bounce
and bust my shocks.
I wrote that for a class I took in junior high school as a "protest poem"- the thought of writing poetry used to make me nauseous. Now that I've actually posted it for the whole world to see, I expect that it will start popping up all over the internet- it will be put to music on some yokel's "Youtube" vid blog or something... |
