This is one of the most biased interviews I have ever seen. But teh CIA guiy, well placed, really spills a surprising amount of detail in this interview -- that I find kind of odd that he gave in the first place

Or maybe he's a mail room guy at CIA who's read a lot of LeCarre books and was taking the conspiracy guy for a ride?

I'm not sure the CIA guy can speak authoritatively to Condoleesa Rice's chief concerns. A lot of his remarks were such interpretations/assumptions. I'm not sure the Secretary of State discusses her actual chief concerns with a field agent at an intel briefing. Just one example.

I too wonder about the depth, breadth, and content of what he reveals. Maybe he's running a disinfo game on the interviewer.

He was M in Bond - pretty sure - BUT ... he wrote a book. He needed folks to buy it. Bad part of being M is that no one knows who you are or are going to buy a book you wrote.

Unless you can get on 60 Minutes, and in the Post or in Der Spiegel. How could you do that? What sorta things could you possibly say?

Yeah, usually seems like spy folk can't really say anything till waaay later, like not speaking out about your intel role in WWII with the French Resistance until 10-15 years later. Other than what you read or see in books, TV and movies, I know next to nothing about that world.
